The 2025 Wimbledon men's singles tournament should be another instant-classic of a major.
Many expect world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and reigning back-to-back Wimbledon champ Carlos Alcaraz to make the final, and it would be hard to disagree.
Sinner (Australian Open) and Alcaraz (French Open) have split this year's first two major titles 1-1, and they're also dead-even at 3-3 over the past six majors.
They are the odds-on favourites to make it to Centre Court at All-England Club for the Sunday, July 13 final. However, the world No. 1 and 2 will have plenty of competition in the field.
American Taylor Fritz and Brit Jack Draper have also been playing great tennis this year, and seven-time Wimbledon champ Novak Djokovic always has a shot. There's also Kazahk Alexander Bublik, who recently defeated Sinner in the second round of the Halle Open.
Sinner and Alcaraz have simply been on a different planet in majors, though. Sinner had won a whopping 20 consecutive Grand Slam matches before losing to Alcaraz in the French Open final. That title marked the Spaniard's fifth Grand Slam win in five chances. It also served as the first Grand Slam matchup between the two current king of the court — but most certainly not the last.
Sinner has gone a remarkable 19-3 this year, with two of the Italian's three losses coming against Alcaraz. The Spaniard leads the all-time head-to-head matchup 9-4 over Sinner, who remains No. 1 in the ATP rankings. Could we see another epic final clash between these two on July 13? The bookies seem to think just that.

Wimbledon men's singles tournament 2025 best bet to win
Carlos Alcaraz (6/5 with Bet365)
It's hard to go against Alcaraz as the best bet right now. He has largely owned Sinner head-to-head, he's been better on grass, and he has more consistency going into All-England Club (Sinner's coaches Marco Panichi and Ulises Badio just split with the world No. 1, right after he lost to Alexander Bublik at Halle).
Alcaraz has won each of the past two Wimbledons, both against seven-time champ Djokovic (Djoker is still searching for his record-breaking 25th career Grand Slam, but he hasn't looked his typical dominant self this season). With a favourable draw and the most dominant grass game in the tournament, Alcaraz remains the man to beat at Centre Court.
Wimbledon men's singles tournament 2025 best value bet
Jack Draper (17/1 with Betfair)
Like Alcaraz, Draper has established himself as one of the best tennis players in the world on grass. He has won 15 of his past 21 grass-court matches, and his victory over Brandon Nakashima at Queen’s Club helped secure him the No. 4 seed at Wimbledon. He's the highest-seeded Brit at All-England Club in over 10 years.
That's not just a strong personal feat — it's vital to his chances of winning this title. The top-four seed lets Draper avoid Sinner, Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev until at least the semifinals. He can get some rhythm going in the early rounds and build up some momentum before he faces those heavy hitters. Take the value at 21/1.
Wimbledon men's singles tournament 2025 best long-shot bet
Alexander Bublik (40/1 with Betfair)
Not many people on Earth are playing better tennis than Alexander Bublik right now, and the Kazakh has a real shot at shocking the world at Wimbledon. He has a phenomenally powerful serve, he's massively skilled both at the net and from the baseline, and he mixes up his shots brilliantly to keep his opponents guessing. Bublik's star is on the rise, and he's a fantastic value at 50/1 to pull off the upset.
