Who will win F1 Canadian Grand Prix 2025? Betting tips, predictions for GP weekend & Driver and Constructor title odds image

The 2025 Formula 1 Championship heads to Canada this weekend, as we approach the halfway point of the season.

Oscar Piastri won last time around at the Spanish Grand Prix, and currently holds a 10-point lead at the top of the standings over Lando Norris. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen is even further back, having won just two of the opening nine races this season.

With the two top drivers this season both being part of McLaren-Mercedes, the Constructors Championship already appears to be wrapped up, but there is still so much up for grabs.

The Sporting News brings you the best odds, predictions and tips to make the weekend even more exciting.

Predictions, tips for Canada GP

Max Verstappen to win (5/1)

The 27-year-old might not be enjoying the best season, with the McLaren-Mercedes duo outdoing him so far, but he still is the best driver in the world to many.

Verstappen has not only won the last four Drivers Championships, but he has also won the previous three Canadian Grand Prix.

We're backing him to make it four-in-a-row and put himself right back into contention at the top.

Lewis Hamilton podium finish (7/2)

Hamilton might be on the verge of retirement at the age of 40, but he is on one of his favorurite tracks this weekend.

The British racing legend has won seven Canadian Grand Prix, so where better to earn a first podium finish this season?
