England will look to seal the ODI series when they take on the West Indies in the second ODI match in Cardiff on Sunday.

England, under the leadership of Harry Brook, ended their six-match winless streak after thrashing West Indies by 238 runs in the first ODI match and took the 1-0 lead.

While batting first, England posted 400 for 8 in their first innings, thanks to the half-centuries from Ben Duckett (60), Joe Root (57), Harry Brook (58), and an impressive 82-run knock from youngster Jacob Bethell. Later, they bowled out the WI team for just 162 runs in 26.2 overs. Saqib Mahmood and Jamie Overton shared three wickets each, and Adil Rashid got two.

Meanwhile, the West Indies will be eager to bounce back in the series after their dismal performance in the first ODI match. Shai Hope's side failed to perform with bat and bowl; they would look to rectify their mistakes going into this second match.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

England vs. West Indies team news

Harry Brook led England to their first victory after losing six ODI matches in a row. The home team saw a stellar performance from Ben Duckett, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Jos Buttler, and Jacob Bethell that helped them to post 400 on the scoreboard, their 5th 400th score in ODI history.

Jamie Smith started as the first choice wicketkeeper in the first ODI, and he is likely to retain his place in the second match as well. In the bowling unit, Saqib Mahmood led the charge with Brydon Carse as his partner. They are unlikely to change their playing XI for the second match after getting a positive result in the first one.

England predicted XI: Brook (c), Duckett, Smith (wk), Root, Buttler, Bethell, Jacks, Overton, Rashid, Carse, Mahmood.

West Indies will have a last chance to bounce back in the series. They have Evin Lewis warming the bench, waiting for his opportunity in this series. He is likely to be added to the starting XI for the second match. The opening duo of Brandon King and Justin Greaves will look to do better in the crucial match.

With not so many options in the bowling lineup, the West Indies will likely go with the unchanged bowling attack.

West Indies predicted XI: King, Seales, Carty, Hope (c & wk), Lewis, Motie, Jangoo, Chase, Joseph, Greaves, Forde.
