He joined the club in January 2025 from MLS side Inter Miami, where he had a successful spell, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in the 2024 campaign.

Gómez is a versatile player who can be deployed as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder, attacking midfielder, or a winger.
