Luka Modric made Italian football history during his display for AC Milan against Bologna on Sunday evening (September 14).
The recently arrived midfielder from Real Madrid scored the only goal of his new side's 1-0 victory at the San Siro after being set up by Alexis Saelemaekers.
The low-struck second half finish from the veteran Croatian star was his first goal for the Rossoneri.
Massimiliano Allegri's team have now won back-to-back games in Serie A and sit fifth in the league table.
This comes after Milan kicked off their campaign with a shock home loss to newly promoted Cremonese.

This achievement is the latest in what has been an illustrious and highly-decorated career for the Croatian football legend.
The former Ballon d'Or winner evidently still has ambitions of displaying his quality at the highest level despite his age, as he captioned a recent social media post, "Age is just a number", after turning 40.
Former Rossoneri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic holds the record for being the oldest goalscorer in a Serie A match.
The Swedish football legend found the back of the net at 41 years and 166 days when facing Udinese during his second spell for Milan in 2023.
