Real Madrid are on course for major squad investment once again in 2026.
Xabi Alonso focused on his defence ahead of the 2025/26 campaign with moves for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen and Alvaro Carreras.
The deal for Argentina international Franco Mastantuono was the sole attacking arrival in the Spanish capital as Alonso opted to keep Rodrygo Goes.
The Brazilian remains on the fringes of Alonso's plans and a January exit could be revived if he does not come back into the starting XI more consistently.
Real Madrid have built a reputation for bringing in the best teenage talent from across the world and scouts have regularly been spotted at Premier League games in the last 12 months.
As per reports from transfer outlet Fichajes.net, scouts have been dispatched again, as the Spanish giants eye up a move for Leicester City's highly-rated winger Jeremy Monga.

Who is Real Madrid target Jeremy Monga?
Monga made history in Leicester's 2024/25 campaign - despite the Foxes eventual relegation - as he became the club's youngest-ever player aged 15 years, 271 days old.
That came in at No.2 on the all-time Premier League youngest appearance maker list, behind Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri, and he's since dropped to third, with Nwaneri's teammate Max Dowman ahead of him.
Monga, now aged 16, made seven substitute appearances off the bench last season and he's started four EFL Championship games so far in 2025/26 - and scored his first senior goal.

Speed, close control and superb ability in 1v1s are the key aspects which have caught Real Madrid's eye, despite Monga signing a contract extension until 2026.
Rules state he cannot sign a professional contract, in England or Spain until he turns 18, but Real Madrid could look to bring him into their youth set up.
No transfer fee would be required at this stage and Leicester's main hope of retaining him rests on their ability to secure immediate promotion back to the Premier League in 2026.
