West Ham United are reportedly preparing for a future without Graham Potter in the dugout at the London Stadium.

The 50-year-old has failed to impress since taking over the club in January this year, winning just six of 24 games as The Hammers' boss.

Potter has overseen a side that has won just a single game this season and conceded 14 goals in just four games across all competitions.

Among the defeats are humiliating home losses in the Premier League to London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

West Ham host another close rival this Saturday (September 20), as Crystal Palace are set to make the trip to East London.

Another poor display in front of the club's home supporters would surely push Potter closer to the exit door and give the West Ham hierarchy a major decision to ponder.

West Ham already considering managerial replacements

While the current season may still be in its early stages, West Ham are already drawing up potential replacements for Potter, should the former Brighton and Chelsea manager be dismissed.

According to talkSPORT's Alex Crook and Connor Andrews, former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is being touted for a possible return to the club's dugout.

Club owner and co-chair David Sullivan is reported to be keen on bringing the ex-West Ham player back for a second stint as the club's manager.

Bilic managed The Hammers from 2015-2017, overseeing the club's move from Upton Park to the London Stadium.

The Croatian's first season as the West Ham boss was impressive, as he led the team to a seventh-place league finish and recorded wins away at Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

His second campaign in charge for the East London side was not as successful as the team finished 11th in the Premier League.

Bilic was then sacked three months into the 2017-18 season after a run of poor displays.

In addition to a return for Bilic being discussed at West Ham, talkSPORT claims the club are considering Nuno Espirito Santo and Sean Dyche as potential replacements for Potter.

Espirito Santo was recently sacked by Nottingham Forest after conflict with the club's hierarchy, while Dyche is also out of work after being dismissed as the Everton boss earlier this year.

Evidently, Potter's return to management after his tough stint at Chelsea has not been a successful one.

Recent reports of potential replacements for his position appear to show that he is running out of time to save his job and his coaching reputation.
