The land is estimated to be worth high six figures. With his decision to rent his newly bought land to hunters, Morton is now a part of the billion-dollar Texas hunting industry. Texas' hunting season begins in late September, meaning he's going to be earning some money on the side while slinging passes for the Red Raiders.
Morton is just coming off a shoulder injury this past season, but is ready to start for Texas Tech this Saturday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the season opener.
