Travis Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole dodges Taylor Swift engagement question

Kayla Nicole dated the Kansas City Chiefs tight end from 2017 to 2022.

Following the engagement announcement of Kelce and Swift, fans noticed a cryptic post on the fitness model's profile. She reposted a video from @offthecuff of Tracee Ellis Ross talking about the joys of life. 

"Read about this very concept years ago in a book called Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn't Enough," Kayla wrote over the clip. "I aspire! So so good."

In the clip, the Emmy-winning actress shared how it's a journey and that she continues to work out maximizing her joy.

"I work at it," Tracee says in the clip. "I think joy is different from happiness. I feel like happiness is something you can get at 7/11, and joy is something you earn and work for and takes practice."

"I feel lie joy has legs," she continues. "I feel like joy has feet, I feel like joy has roots, I feel like creates space and allows for room for more than just a good day. I think joy is an attitude. I think joy is a perspective, and I think joy is a lens through which I live and look at my life."

Many fans assumed the post was related to the new announcement of Kelce and Swift, but she told fans not to think too deeply about what she posts.

"You know, the IQ of many people today is very low," she said bluntly. "I don't take it personal anymore."

At the Champion event, Nicole shared that she's single and what she is looking for in a future partner.

"I love an honest man, a man of really great character," she said, adding that they should like "to have fun" and be "spontaneous."

She added that he needs to have a "great relationship with their family" and have "really good girlfriends."

"This list is long," Kayla Nicole admitted with a laugh.
