Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is off to a slow start in fan voting polls as she prepares to compete in the Miss Maine Pageant this weekend.

The former Bridgewater State College cheerleader announced in April that she would once again try to win the title of Miss Maine USA. She previously competed in the pageant, representing her hometown of Hancock, Maine, in 2024. She finished as first runner-up last year.

On Tuesday, May 6, the former NFL coach's girlfriend had only four votes in the Miss Maine USA People's Choice Awards contest. This is surprising as it only costs $1 per vote, and her boyfriend clearly has the bank account to position her as a frontrunner in this stage of the competition.

Several women competing in the Miss Maine Pageant already have hundreds of votes, while Hudson, though not the only woman with fewer than five, is trailing significantly behind the frontrunners.

Lexi Bjork, representing Greenville, Maine, is currently leading the contest with 984 votes, and Arianna DeJesus, representing Penobscot, Maine, is currently in second place with 886 votes.

The People's Choice Awards voting ends in four days. The winner is guaranteed a spot in the semifinals and is usually recognized on stage during the pageant.

Hudson will be competing against 17 other women for the title of Miss Maine.

She hasn't shared much on social media about her presence in the upcoming pageant, aside from announcing that she is competing. However, her competitors have been promoting the pageant in full force on social media.

On Monday, May 5, Shelby Howell, a stunning blonde representing Bangor, Maine, shared her excitement about the upcoming pageant on Instagram.

"Just one week away from the Miss Maine USA final! Feeling beyond grateful and so excited for this journey. Proud to represent my city, Bangor—it’s an honor to carry that name across the stage. Let’s do this," she wrote.

Hudson will also face Isabelle St. Cyr, 24, the first transgender woman to compete in Miss Maine USA.

According to the "Portland Press Herald," Hudson and St. Cyr are the two high-profile contestants who have drawn increased attention to this year's competition. St. Cyr. said they're competing to fulfill a lifelong dream and challenge stereotypes about trans people.

The outlet tried to get comments from Hudson regarding her participation in the pageant, but she allegedly ghosted the newspaper after they mentioned Belichick, 73.

"Hudson made clear she wasn’t willing to answer questions about her relationship (often criticized because of their nearly five-decade age gap), even though she’s not shy about sharing it online," the outlet reported, defending the question by noting that the Hancock contestant "frequently posts" about how smitten she is with Belichick.

"Hudson flirted with the idea of doing an interview, but after I asked if she’d be OK with talking about what she’s shown Belichick of Maine, for the benefit of this corner of Patriots Nation, she stopped answering my emails," the reporter for the outlet wrote.

What does Jordon Hudson stand to gain by winning Miss Maine 2025?

It's unclear why Hudson decided to compete in the Miss Maine Pageant. She doesn't need the media attention and already has a real estate portfolio worth more than $8 million, so what's there to gain for her?

She's arguably the most famous person competing this year, as her name has been all over the headlines since her relationship with Belichick went viral.

If she takes home the title, Hudson gets a crown and sash, floral bouquet, and entry in the national pageant, which is valued at $2,750, according to the official prize package. She'll also receive free pageant coaching and accommodations at the national pageant, along with some other small swag, including a Plexus gift bag and Maine beanie.

Winning would also propel her even farther into the spotlight drawing increased media attention. If that's her goal, reaching the top will certainly deliver it.

When is the Miss Maine pageant?

The Miss Maine USA pageant is May 10-11, 2025 in Portland, Maine.

The pageant will include three competition phases, including activewear/swimsuit, evening gown, and interview. There is no performing talent competition.
