Shaquille O'Neal's stepson, Myles O'Neal, has spoken out after the NBA legend accepted a challenge to fight an old rival in a celebrity boxing tournament.

He says he'll be there to support the NBA legend, however, he seems to be a bit caught off guard by the entire thing.

"I worry about him everyday," Myles told "TMZ" after the announcement was made. "I don't know. A boxing match is kinda crazy, but you know I'm gonna be ringside. I'll support. I'll help train, stuff like that," Myles added.

Shaquille O'Neal accepts challenge from Charles Mack

Last week, Shaq, 53, quickly hopped on Instagram to accept Charles Mack, aka Charles Alston's, offer to step into the ring to settle their long-standing beef.

The drama unfolded after called out the former Los Angeles Lakers star directly in a video shared to X

"I'm making an open call to Shaquille O'Neal. We were in Dallas doing an autograph signing, and he came and tried to jump in front of the line,” Mack, a longstanding figure in the Philadelphia music and culture scene, claimed. “I chopped him in his neck so he could get back."

"I’m giving you an opportunity to kind of settle the difference. Me and you, baby, super heavyweight. … I’m calling you ‘Sha-knocked out.’ That’s what you’re gonna be," he continued.

Shortly after the challenge was issued, Shaq issued a reply on IG, saying, "Hey Celebrity Boxing and Charlie Mack, I accept."

"You chopped me in my neck, Charlie Mack, that’s why I talk so funny. Payback time," Shaq added. “You name the time and place, I’ll be there. Diesel don’t run from nobody. … You better check my police record, Charlie Mack."

A time and date for the celebrity fight has not been set yet.

This won't be Shaq's first go around in the ring. He previously had a five-round exhibition match against Oscar De La Hoya in 2009 and Shane Mosley in 2010.

He lost both matches.
