Team USA will have one major advantage when it faces Team Europe in the Ryder Cup. It will bring the No. 1 golfer in the world to Bethpage Black.
Scottie Scheffler has been surgical throughout the 2025 PGA Tour season, registering six tournament wins, including triumphs at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship. The 29-year-old is coming off an impressive victory at the Procore Championship, which pushed his total earnings this year past $27 million.
But Scheffler and the rest of the Americans can't count on PGA Tour success as an indicator of Ryder Cup performance. Team Europe defeated Team USA in 2023 after jumping out to an early 4-0 lead and holding off the Americans for a 16 1/2-11 1/2 win.
Can Scheffler help Team USA reclaim the trophy?
Here is everything you need to know about watching Scheffler at the Ryder Cup.
