Tarik Skubal performed as advertised in Game 1 of the Tigers' AL Wild Card Series against the Guardians. Now Detroit will need to see if it can maintain the momentum. 

After a miraculous run to the AL Central title, the Guardians' season is suddenly on the line in Game 2 at Progressive Field. 

Tanner Bibee will pick up the baton from Gavin Williams, who was brilliant in the opener but took the loss after allowing two unearned runs. The Tigers will give the ball to Casey Mize and hope to manufacture a bit more offense of their own.
