When discussing the best players in Michigan football history, the conversation can often be centered around Charles Woodson.
The school's most recent Heisman winner in 1997, Woodson is one of the best defensive backs in college football history. He also helped lead the Wolverines to the National Championship in 1997, winning the Rose Bowl to finish as the #1 team in the country. Woodson is forever engrained as a legend in Wolverine lore.
And now, his son - Charles Woodson Jr. - has an opportunity to do the same thing, and dad is ecstatic.
Woodson Jr. announced the offer on June 4, posting a picture of his father with a rose in his mouth after the aforementioned Rose Bowl win.

The senior Woodson recently discussed his own reaction to the offer, according to Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press.
"I mean, it was cloud nine, man," Woodson said of his emotions when it happened. "First of all I'm a father and so for your son to get that type of attention from anywhere is truly amazing. But when you get a call from your own school it means that much more. We'll see what happens in the future."
Much like his father, Woodson Jr. plays on both sides of the ball. In the class of 2027, he is listed by 247Sports as the 243rd overall player and 23rd safety, and he has a 4-star rating. He also has offers from a number of Power Four programs, including Arkansas, Baylor, Florida State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan, Ole Miss, Syracuse, and Texas A&M.
