Fans and gamers alike are chomping at the bit for the new EA Sports College Football 26 video game to come out, and Michigan fans have just been given another reason to be excited.

Today, EA Sports released its list of the Top 25 Toughest Places to Play in the game, and Michigan Stadium was listed as the 10th-best home environment in the nation.

Here is what EA Sports' blog post said about the 25 stadiums: "The crowd. The noise. The overwhelmingly hostile atmosphere. See which teams you don't want to face on their home turf in our Top 25 Toughest Places to Play."

This is a huge honor for the fans in Ann Arbor as they crack the top ten for toughest environments. With the largest crowds in the nation every Saturday in "The Big House," the 107,000+ fans that attend each Wolverine home contest have made their presence felt over the years, and CFB 26 will reflect that.

Michigan has gone 28-2 at home over the last four seasons, and this past season's week two loss to Texas ended a 22-game home winning streak. Both home losses in this stretch came in 2024, and they were each against a future College Football Playoff contender in Texas and Oregon. The Big House has been virtually unimpeachable for any team for years.

Playing against an opponent using the Wolverines at home will now be exceedingly difficult as the game's Home Field Advantage feature makes gameplay much more difficult for road teams at tough home environments.
