Zach Davidson is a tight end, but on Saturday night in the Buffalo Bills' preseason finale, he was so much more.

Davidson drew an ejection and punted, in addition to catching passes.

The ejection is the one that drew the headlines, although not for Davidson's name. He got into a post-play scuffle with Shilo Sanders, and when Deion's son threw a right-handed punch at the helmet of the 6-foot-7 Davidson, it earned an ejection for Shilo.

Davidson was also the punter for the night for Buffalo.

Regular punter Brad Robbins was under the weather, so Davidson got the temporary duties. He did some punting at Central Missouri.

On his first attempt, he blasted a 62-yarder.

Davidson's second punt of the night went 42 yards, giving him a 52-yard average on his two punts.

The big tight end also caught two passes for 27 yards, including a 20-yard catch and run from Shane Buchele.

Davidson was on-and-off the Bills' roster a season ago. With TE3 Quintin Morris departed in free agency, it seemed Davidson would have a chance to make the team behind Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

Whether he has done enough will be determined by cutdown day on Tuesday.

It's hard to imagine Davidson could've done much more than what he did in Saturday night's preseason finale.
