Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is one of three players to be featured on Season 2 of Netflix's 'Quarterback' series, along with Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions and Kirk Cousins of the Atlanta Falcons. Burrow's road to recovery is one of the biggest focus points around his 2024 season, but the series is also made to give an inside look to the quarterbacks on and off the field.

With Season 2 being released on Tuesday, Burrow revealed his love for ancient fossils during a team practice session, explaining to coaches his intrigue about fossils and their time in the world. Watch the video below to hear Burrow explain why he's so fascinated by fossils and trying to sell his coaches on his fascination.

The beauty in the 'Quarterback' series is bringing football fans and viewers a different side of some of the NFL's most marquee players. While Burrow's love for fossils is certainly a hilarious talking point, most fans are just wanting to see him lead the Bengals back to a Super Bowl like he did in the 2021 season, falling short of a championship in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Last season, Burrow threw for 4,918 yards with 43 touchdowns and 9 interceptions, but the Bengals missed the playoffs after going 9-8 on the year.
