Even with Shedeur Sanders firmly at the bottom of the Cleveland Browns' initial depth chart, there's still optimism that the Colorado product will get his chance under center in this upcoming campaign.

Outside of his expansive fan base, Shedeur gained national support this summer through his performance in training camp. Despite getting little work with the starting offense, his accuracy in practice has impressed.

The 23-year-old even earned the starting nod in Cleveland's first preseason contest, signaling the coaching staff is at least interested in seeing the fifth-rounder get crucial time in a game format.

But with all signs pointing to Joe Flacco being the full-time signal caller, and the organization still preferring fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, is Sanders' time with the Browns winding down?

Bleacher Report's Mitchel Milani thinks if the organization isn't going to play Sanders when it matters, it's best to cut ties with him.

"The solution for Sanders is to trade him," Milani said. "There are too many distractions—if the team struggles, the Browns fans are constantly going to be asking for him to play. It's not the season you want your season to go if you're the Browns."

There's some history that backs up Milani's take. Look at how fast the likes of Tim Tebow fizzled out because of the circus that swirled around him.

Shedeur's presence isn't quite as problematic, but his star is only beginning to get NFL exposure.

Regardless of where he lands, he will attract immense attention on any roster, but a different organization could be more equipped to handle that scrutiny.
