After a tumultuous summer, Shedeur Sanders secured his spot on the Cleveland Browns' 53-man roster.

Local reports of the 23-year-old lighting up training camp were always a smidge disingenuous, considering he was often competing with practice-squad-level talent.

It was evident throughout his showings in recent exhibitions that many of Shedeur's concerns as a prospect are still plaguing his early development in the NFL.

The Colorado product has no internal clock in the pocket, rapidly succumbing to even slight incoming pressure. Paired with a lack of athleticism, Shedeur's inability to create out of structure plagues his upside as a pro.

Despite Shedeur's rabid hive of supporters constantly trying to make excuses for his failure to ascend up the depth chart, one prominent analyst thinks that at this point, it's obvious he's just not that good.

On a recent episode of his "What's Wright?" podcast, Nick Wright blasted Shedeur's preseason finale and suggested he's to blame for being in an unfavorable position.

"Shedeur fans need to recognize he wouldn't start for a single team in the league," Wright said. "That's not unfair—that's not a vast conspiracy. Shedeur couldn't afford that kind of performance. That's life in the NFL as a late-round draft pick."

Wright ended his monologue by hoping the Browns QB chatter would dissipate in the next few weeks, but the second Joe Flacco has a shaky outing, the chants for Shedeur will echo throughout Cleveland.

Shedeur has a chance to blossom into at least a low-end game manager, but right now, he's far from deserving to be under center in contests that matter.
