The Dallas Cowboys face NFC rivals the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, with eyes on former Cowboy Micah Parsons returning after his stunning trade. The Cowboys will be without stars CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Booker in Week 4. Does that worry the team?
Not at all. Coach Brian Schottenheimer said they're ready and confident.
On Wednesday, Schottenheimer told reporters,
"We're good enough to beat the Packers without CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Booker."
This message will surely boost the team's spirits ahead of the big game.
Schottenheimer also hinted at the return of defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and cornerback DaRon Bland this week. Both are trending toward playing on Sunday, which should bolster the Cowboys defence.
Brian Schottenheimer speaks candidly about facing Micah Parsons
"Micah is going to make plays," he said. "Is he gonna get a sack? Shit. I hope not."
Schottenheimer added:
"I think I know Micah pretty well. They move him around a lot, which is great. I'm not going to give away our gameplan for Micah. ... It's gonna be a long day for us and the guys trying to block him, because he's that talented. But it's not just about Micah."
The Cowboys must secure a win against the Packers on Sunday. Falling to 1-3 after Week 4 would put considerable pressure on the team.
