Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been on a tear to open the 2025 season.
The 26-year-old leads the NFL in rushing attempts (60), yards (338) and yards per game (112.7). He’s the only player in the league with over 300 total rushing yards and has the most explosive (10+) yards with seven.
After a dominant showing against the Denver Broncos in Week 2, Taylor earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. He earned the same accolade in Week 3 after ripping through the Tennessee Titans defense, racking up 118 total scrimmage yards and three rushing touchdowns.
It was the 26th time in his career that Taylor rushed for at least 100 yards in a game, and the first time he’s put together back-to-back 100-yard games since Weeks 17-18 of 2024.
The highlight of his big day in Indy’s 41-20 dismantling of the Titans came on a 46-yard touchdown run, avoiding one tackle attempt, spinning out of another and finally pulling away from a third on his way to the end zone.

The former second-round pick has dominated Tennessee in recent matchups, accruing 336 total yards and six touchdowns across his last two games against the divisional opponents. Both of the three-touchdown performances he’s had in his career have come over the Titans as well.
Taylor becomes the first Colts player to earn the award in back-to-back weeks and is the first player in the NFL to achieve the feat since Josh Allen in Weeks 5-6 of 2022. It’s the fifth time in his career Taylor has taken home the title, each of the last two coming against the Titans.
Taylor will look to continue his dominance against a Los Angeles Rams run defense which is allowing just over 100 rushing yards per game so far this season.
