The Kansas City Chiefs have been here before.
And it's eerie how similar it all felt.
Xavier Worthy left Friday night's game in Brazil with a shoulder injury. He was hurt when teammate Travis Kelce ran into him.
And Chiefs fans have seen this before.
A season ago, in Week 4, Rashee Rice had his knee run into by Patrick Mahomes. It resulted in a season-ending injury for Rice.
Rice is now suspended for six games, making Worthy more important than ever to Kansas City.

But just three snaps into the season, Worthy found himself in a collision with Kelce.
The injury shouldn't knock Worthy out for the season. Chiefs fans certainly would hope the speedster is back sooner rather than later.
They'll also be hoping there are no more friendly-fire injuries. They're that much more painful.
And the Chiefs are running out of wide receivers to still be run into.
Ouch indeed.
