The New York Giants play their home games at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The venue is notorious for its turf field and the bad injuries that are suffered on it. 

The Giants were playing the New York Giants in Week 4, and star wide receiver Malik Nabers went up for a grab. Before he did, his cleat appeared to get caught in the turf right before he jumped. It resulted in an awkward motion, and when he came down, he instantly started grabbing at his knee. 

Nabers was carted off after the scary injury. With it being his knee, there was a wide range of outcomes that could come his way once he underwent testing. Here is more on how long Nabers will be out.

Malik Nabers injury update

An MRI confirmed Nabers has suffered a torn ACL, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday.

Nabers was unable to return to the game in the first half. There was optimism that the team didn't instantly rule him out, but he was ruled out for the game coming out of halftime.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network initially said that the wide receiver is believed to have torn his ACL.

How long will Malik Nabers be out?

Nabers will miss the remainder of the 2025 season with a torn ACL.

He finishes his sophomore campaign with 18 receptions for 271 yards and two touchdowns in three and a half games of action.
