Arizona’s last outing was one to forget, as the Denver Broncos rolled over them 27-7. The Cardinals were gashed for 562 total yards while managing just 135 of their own and scraping together only eight first downs.
Outside of a single solid drive orchestrated by Jacoby Brissett, the performance was a house of cards on both offense and defense.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are starting to look more polished, even in defeat. Their 22-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers came down to the wire, showing they’re inching toward regular-season form.
That setback also put an end to their unusual preseason streak of back-to-back ties, which dated back to a clash with those very same 49ers a year ago.
