The Stanley Cup Final starts tonight as the Avalanche and Lightning begin their series to determine the champion of the 2021-22 NHL season. 

Colorado rolled through Edmonton in the Western Conference Final, sweeping Connor McDavid and Co. in four games to reach the finals. It is the first time since 2001 that the Avs will play for the chance at hoisting the Cup. 

Tampa Bay is eyeing a three-peat, having won the championship in 2020 and 2021. The Lightning fell behind 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Final but ripped off four straight wins to reach the finals for the third consecutive season.

Now, the two teams meet for what should be an exciting series, with the action kicking off in Denver.
