Atlanta earned a No. 3 seed entering the postseason for the second time. But this year, it looks good. Led by Rhyne Howard, the Dream have the pieces they need to advance past the first round for the first time since 2018. Allisha Gray leads the team with points per game while Brionna Jones is an automatic rebounder. Don't forget the addition of Brittney Griner, adding much needed veteran experience where it matters.
Indiana, on the other hand, earned three wins to finish the regular season to earn a No. 6 seed in the postseason. It will be without star Caitlin Clark, who hasn't played since mid-July, one of the many players injured throughout the season. It will be up to Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham to see their way through one of the hottest teams in the league.
The Fever have not advanced past the first round of the playoffs since 2015.
