The 36th edition of the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup kicks off at Carmel, Indiana on Friday.

Carmel has previously hosted the 2022 Swimming World Cup final, the 2019 Champions Series, the 2017 World Junior Swimming Championships, and the 2004 World Swimming Championships (25m).

American phenom Kate Douglass comes into this year as the defending women's overall champion, and is once again a top contender after her impressive performance at the 2025 World Aquatics Swimming Championships in Singapore, where she won three golds and two silvers

On the men's front, French sensation Leon Marchand was the overall winner last year, narrowly overcoming Switzerland's Noe Ponti to win the World Cup. 

Olympic champions and record-breakers such as Summer McIntosh, Regan Smith, Ilya Shymanovich, Kaylee McKeown, Mollie O’Callaghan, Lani Pallister, Adam Peaty, and Thomas Ceccon are set to compete in Carmel.
