From Class 5A down through the eight-player ranks, here are some of the top stat lines from the past week in Iowa high school football. Stats are from those uploaded to Bound by 10 p.m. CT on Saturday, September 13:

Iowa High School Football: Week 3 Top Performances

Passing

  • Hudson Krukow of Central DeWitt completed 18 of 21 passes for 324 yards, recording five touchdowns.
  • Kayvin Morris from North Tama hit on 30-for-42 for 319 yards and five touchdowns.
  • South Hardin's Peyton Welch went off for 317 yards and four passing TDs on 14 of 20.
  • Wyatt Shires, just a sophomore from Southwest Valley, went over 300 yards with a pair of touchdowns.
  • Lawton-Bronson rolled behind a 308-yard, three-TD performance by Noah Drew.
  • Brady Boulton completed 13 passes, as six of them resulted in touchdowns while throwing for 278 yards.

Rushing

  • Coon Rapids-Bayard junior Caden Oswald rushed for 391 yards on 21 carries, hitting paydirt eight times.
  • Nolan Kriegel from Iowa Valley has moved to running back with great success, rushing for 353 yards and nine - count them nine - TDs. He also returned a kick for a 10th.
  • Jaden Montgomery from Dubuque Hempstead continues to pile up yards, this time going for 340 and five TDs.
  • Exira-EHK senior Bryce Brabham shined, rushing 37 times for 325 yards and six touchdowns.

Receiving

  • Clayton Williams from North Tama hauled in 12 passes, covering 175 yards with a touchdown.
  • Sam Benson of South Hardin caught just four passes, but they went for 178 yards and three touchdowns.
  • Woodbine star Landon Blum exploded for 156 yards with three touchdowns on six receptions.
  • Tino Daye Jr. caused problems for Ames, as the Johnston senior caught eight passes for 149 and three TDs.

Defense/Special Teams

  • Brock Mulder from Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley scored four sacks among his seven tackles.
  • Clayton Ridge senior Landon Reimer registered 3.5 sacks in a shutout.
  • Lamoni's Landon Lindgren and Brock Binkley each picked off three passes.
  • Central City's Dashny Munyakzi returned two kickoffs back for scores.
