MIAMI, Florida, Aug. 23 — The No. 15 Orange [CA] Lutheran Lancers made the long road trip from California to Florida a successful one Saturday night, beating the 14 Northwestern [Miami, FL] Bulls, 17-15.
Orange Lutheran is one of California's Trinity League powers playing alongside the likes of No. 1 Mater Dei and No. 3 St. John Bosco.
Northwestern, meanwhile, is Florida's defending FHSAA Class 3A state champions.
The game kicked off at 7 p.m. EST in Miami, Florida.
