Kason Delgado helped his team finally break through in the win column for the 2025 season.
Delgado, a junior quarterback at Muskogee, turned in a strong performance in the Roughers' 55-29 win at Ponca City in the District 6A-II-2 opener on Sept. 26. He completed 20-of-25 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
That win also gave Muskogee its first after the Roughers - who fell to Choctaw in last season's Class 6A-II championship game - started this season 0-3.
For his efforts, Delgado was voted as The Sporting News Oklahoma Player of the Week for Week 4, covering Sept. 22-28.
