After multiple years of dominance with a star-studded roster, the Aces have been underwhelming to start the 2025 season, and they are now dealing with an injury to their most important player.
A'ja Wilson has been able to keep the team afloat, leading Las Vegas in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks per game. However, the Aces will be without the three-time WNBA MVP on Friday night, as Wilson is in the concussion protocol after suffering a head injury Wednesday.
Fortunately for the Aces, they will face the Wings, who are just 1-10 this season and have lost their last six games. Dallas made a splash by selecting Paige Bueckers with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, but the team is still struggling to find success.
Wilson's absence could give Dallas a chance, though, adding a bit of extra spice to the matchup.
