Drafted first overall by the Sparks in 2008, Parker made an immediate impact by becoming the first and only player in league history to win both Rookie of the Year and MVP in the same season. She later led the Sparks to a championship in 2016.

Over her 16-season career, Parker also played for the Chicago Sky and the Las Vegas Aces. She won championships with each team, adding titles in 2021 with the Sky and in 2023 with the Aces before retiring in 2024.

A two-time WNBA Finals MVP, Parker is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the league.
