The time has come for postseason basketball. The Dream and Fever are set to go head to head in the first round of the 2025 WNBA playoffs.
No. 3 Atlanta has led the Eastern Conference for much of the season. The Dream clinched their playoff spot with a 100-78 win over the Wings on Aug. 29 and then proceeded to go on a six-game winning streak to close out the regular season.
The Fever's playoff destiny was uncertain, especially without star guard Caitlin Clark. Luckily, Indiana was able to pull out some clutch wins when it mattered most, sending them to the postseason in back-to-back years for the first time since 2015.
