The WNBA playoffs kicked off on Sunday, Sept. 14, with four games throughout the day.

The Fever and Dream played Game 1 in Atlanta, with the Dream coming out on top 80-68. Despite leading after the first quarter, the Fever fell short, thanks to great second and fourth quarters from the Dream.

Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard both scored 20 points for Atlanta. Naz Hillmon scored 16, and Brionna Jones scored 12 in the victory.

The Fever only had two players finish in double figures. Kelsey Mitchell scored a game-high 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting. Odyssey Sims scored 10 points, while Lexie Hull had nine points and Aliyah Boston had eight points.

The series shifts to Indiana for Game 2 on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Dream can advance with a victory.
