With players such as Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Harley Reid now officially off the market, it's predicted that stars such as Charlie Curnow, Christian Petracca and Zak Butters could be the names that define the 2025 AFL trade period.
But none of those seemingly have as many suitors as overlooked Gold Coast Suns small forward Malcolm Rosas, who is reportedly entertaining as many as five clubs.
Rosas is without a contract beyond this year, and has cracked Damien Hardwick's side just four times this season (starting as the sub twice).
With a number of clubs seemingly chasing his signature, it would be expected that the 24-year-old will head south at the end of the season, as Fox Footy's Jon Ralph provided the latest on the Midweek Tackle.

"Malcolm Rosas has got interest from five clubs. In fact, he's actually met with, or had communication, with five clubs," Ralph said.
"What a crazy market it is for small forwards right now. Richmond, Carlton Essendon, Sydney, Melbourne [are the teams interested].
"To think, a player who's played four games this year [for] only one goal, and yet everyone wants a small forward there."
Rosas joined the Suns in the 2019 draft, and eventually became a regular member of the side in 2022 and 2023, appearing in 34 games for a return of 33 goals across both seasons.
Towards the end of 2023, he signed a two-year extension that would see him through to the end of 2025.
But since Hardwick arrived at the Gold Coast to coach the club ahead of the 2024 season, Rosas has struggled to break into the side, playing in just 11 games over the previous two years.
Rosas last appeared for the Suns in their round 22 win over Carlton, where he entered the game as the sub and had two disposals in 13 per cent game time.
He has been left out of the side's final home-and-away clash against Essendon on Wednesday night, where the Suns need to win to qualify for finals.
Small forwards are expected to be in high demand this off-season, with wantaway West Coast Eagle Liam Ryan also gaining interest from a number of Victorian clubs.
