Former number one draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has moved closer to a return to football, ending his leave of absence from the Western Bulldogs.
The star forward hasn't played all season as he deals with personal issues, having taken leave from the club in April.
Last week, it was reported that Ugle-Hagan was still a chance to feature on-field in 2025, although he'd need a solid block of training before a return, first through the VFL.

On Monday, journalist Mitch Cleary reported that the 23-year-old had taken the first step, fronting up at the Whitten Oval.

Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge last week spoke about the 67-gamer's future, revealing they'd had positive discussions.
"We're working through that. I've had some meetings with 'Marra'," Beveridge said.
"Whether it's in the distance or whether it's a month and a half away, I couldn't tell you.”
Ugle-Hagan remains contracted to the Bulldogs for next season, although the left-footer has been linked with a move away from the Kennel.
Reports earlier this month claimed Ugle-Hagan had expressed a desire to play for Sydney, although there's been no confirmation of interest from the Swans thus far.
