The Dolphins have extended Felise Kaufusi, who will remain at the Redcliffe-based club until the end of 2027.
The 33-year-old has played 221 NRL games and made 17 State of Origin appearances for Queensland.
After arriving from the Storm to be part of the Dolphins' inaugural season, Kaufusi has entrenched himself into the club's leadership group.

However, he's also developed a rap for being one of the most suspended players in the NRL. His latest infringement was a dangerous tackle on Jacob Laban in Round 22.
Kaufusi made his return to action in Round 25, and the Dolphins didn't hesitate in handing him a new deal.
Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader praised Kaufusi's commitment to the club and lauded his mentorship skills.
"There is no doubt that the recruitment of Felise helped open the way for many more players to join the Dolphins," said Reader in a statement released by the club on Thursday.
"His decision to join the Dolphins and the subsequent signing of his teammates Jesse and Kenny Bromwich from the Storm helped set and drive the standards of the club.
"Now to have him commit to another contract and continue to mentor the next generation of Dolphins’ forwards is another coup for the club."
He will now look to guide his young Dolphins teammates to the clubs maiden finals appearance, beginning with a Titans outfit with nothing to lose on Sunday.
