Chargers' Oronde Gadsden II revealed as secret offensive weapon as Los Angeles TE image

The Los Angeles Chargers found a way to win Sunday and improve to 3-0 by topping the Denver Broncos on a game-winning field goal from Cameron Dicker.

One of the underrated reasons: They unlocked Oronde Gadsen II.

The rookie tight end hadn't even been active, but in Week 3, he was one of the best offensive players on the field.

Gadsden had five catches for 46 yards. He was targeted twice on the game-winning drive, too.

Entering the day, the Chargers had four catches on the season from all their tight ends combined.

Gadsden gave them five by himself.

Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin were preferred to Gadsden to open the season, but not now.

The big, athletic tight end from Syracuse has an NFL father and went to the Chargers in the fifth round of April's NFL Draft.

It was a bit surprising that he wasn't even active to start the season, but that made it just as surprising that Gadsden got as big a role as he did on Sunday.

It seems like the Chargers will stick with him going forward, and if they do, that just raises the possible level of their offense even further.
