India and Pakistan will lock horns for the third time in the Asia Cup 2025 final and this time the stakes are high.

Amid all the controversy surrounding the matches so far, India has fared well against their arch-rivals -- with two dominant victories in the Group Stage and the Super Four Stage.

Following Pakistan's 11-run win over Bangladesh in the Super 4, which took them to the final, a Bangladesh supporter claimed he wanted Pakistan to beat India. Additionally, he requested fast bowler Haris Rauf to repeat the '6-0' gesture, which has already landed him in trouble.

During the Super Four clash between India and Pakistan on Sunday, September 21, the fast bowler was seen mocking the Indian supporters by showing them '6-0' and mimicking a fighter jet going down crashing.

The gesture refers to a disputed claim by the Pakistani media, which claimed Pakistan shot down six of India's aircraft during the cross-border tensions earlier this year.

"Pakistan will win, they played well. They need to take India down and the Haris Rauf [6-0] celebration should once again happen in the final," said a Bangladesh supporter in a viral video.

While the claim is used as propaganda within Pakistan, the BCCI has shown no tolerance for the player's actions and lodged an official complaint against Rauf. Another complaint was made against Sahibzada Farhan's gun-firing gesture to celebrate his fifty against India.

The ICC match referee has called the duo for an official hearing on Friday. At this hearing, they will have to explain their actions and possibly face reprimand from the council.
