Did Prithvi Shaw and Musheer Khan bury the hatchet? Batter says ‘I’m like an elder brother’ after on-field spat image

Prithvi Shaw and Musheer Khan made headlines this week for reasons beyond cricket. During a friendly match between Maharashtra and Mumbai at the MCA Stadium in Pune, tempers flared between the two, leading to a brief on-field spat.

The incident came soon after Shaw, now playing for Maharashtra, scored a brilliant century against his former team - a knock that seemed to carry an emotional charge. But just days later, the mood appeared to have shifted completely.

The moment, captured during the live stream by the Maharashtra Cricket Association, showed Shaw wrapping his arm around Musheer's neck in a friendly gesture while the young all-rounder responded warmly.

"Prithvi realised his mistake and approached Musheer to apologise. He told him, 'I am like an elder brother to you.' So all is well between the two," a source told TOI.

The camaraderie between the two is not new. Shaw has been close friends with Musheer's elder brother, Sarfaraz Khan, since their school days at Rizvi Springfield.

The two have shared many partnerships for both school and Mumbai cricket, making this recent clash seem more like a momentary lapse than a lasting feud.
