FANTASY LINEUP TIPS: Week 4 Start-Sit | Week 4 Sleepers | Week 4 Busts

Who are the best fantasy QBs for Week 4?

Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes face off against each other, but we'll update their outlook following Monday Night football when Jackson's Ravens face Jared Goff's Detroit Lions.

As for our early top-ranked quarterbacks:

  • Josh Allen should march all over the New Orleans Saints.
  • Justin Herbert draws a weak New York Giants secondary, as long as Joe Alt and the offensive line castoffs can hold off the G-men's elite pass rush.
  • We're cautiously including Daniel Jones among the top 10 quarterbacks, but the Los Angeles Rams represent a tough matchup. Expect the Rams to play the Indianapolis Colts the same way they did Jalen Hurts in Week 3, containing the edges and scrambles while challenging him to beat them with his arm. Indiana Jones conquered the equally dangerous Denver Broncos, though, and his rushing ability keeps him in this elite tier.

Which QB sleepers should I target in fantasy Week 4?

  • The Washington Commanders' Marcus Mariota again fills in for Jayden Daniels and carries sleeper value due to his legs alone against the Atlanta Falcons, even with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) out.
  • Geno Smith's Las Vegas Raiders are rolling, and Brock Bowers isn't even at full strength. Good luck on defense, Chicago Bears.
  • Bo Nix mustered 153 passing yards and 33 rushing yards in a tough draw against the Los Angeles Chargers, but the Denver Broncos sophomore will face the Cincinnati Bengals, who've allowed 2 passing TDs per game.
  • Drake Maye and Bryce Young both would be usable in fantasy lineups during the Patriots vs. Panthers matchup.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers convinced us Justin Fields was a competent quarterback in Week 1 and still let Drake Maye use his wheels to post a solid fantasy day in Week 2. Superflex/2QB players or seekers of an injury replacement for any dinged slinger could look toward the Minnesota Vikings' Carson Wentz, who bombarded the Bengals last week and gets WR Jordan Addison back from suspension.
