The MLB postseason begins Tuesday, but Fenway Park should have a playoff atmosphere this weekend as the Red Sox and Tigers jockey for position in the American League field.

Seeding and possibly even survival are on the line as Boston tries to solidify its AL wild card spot and the Tigers look to ward off a historic collapse by securing a postseason spot that wouldn't have been in question up until a few days ago.

Boston locked up its spot in the playoff bracket with a win in Friday's series opener but and Detroit did the same by returning the favor Saturday. That means seeding is on the line in Sunday's regular season finale but both teams' focus is on the postseason now. 

Here's how to tune in to all the games with the 2025 MLB regular season coming down to the wire:

Where to watch Red Sox vs. Tigers today

  • TV channel: MLB Network (Saturday), NESN, FanDuel Sports Network Detroit
  • Live stream: Apple TV+ (Friday), Fubo (Saturday, Sunday)

The series opener will air exclusively on Apple TV+, wrapping up the streaming service's "Friday Night Baseball" package for the year. 

The Saturday and Sunday games are set for regional broadcasts on NESN and FanDuel Sports Network Detroit, with MLB Network set to air Saturday's game to the rest of the country as well.
