Waxahachie (TX) at DeSoto (TX)

After stunning Duncanville last week, Waxahachie hits the road to take on another perennial powerhouse, DeSoto.

The Eagles are struggling this season with a 2-2 record, including a blowout loss to Creekside (GA) in the season opener and 36-27 loss to defending Class 6A Division I state champion North Crowley. DeSoto has since beaten Corpus Christi Miller and Mesquite by a combined score of 144-7.

Meanwhile, the Indians have three quality wins over Ennis, Forney and Duncanville under their belt. A victory over DeSoto could clear the path to a District 11-6A title.
