'It's hard to gain that trust back': Candace Parker offers dark warning for Angel Reese image

Candace Parker has a dark warning for Angel Reese.

Once trust is lost between teammates, "it's hard to gain that trust back."

The WNBA vet addressed the ongoing drama surrounding Reese in a clip shared ahead of the release of the Sept. 10 episode of her "Post Moves" podcast with Aliyah Boston.

"The best advice that I ever received was to keep things in the house. You can yell, scream, cuss, do all those things in between these walls, but you can't bring it out," Parker advised. "And once that happens, it's hard to gain that trust back. Whether it was us going to rival colleges, you knew that she was gonna be a superstar. You knew that she was going to be a Hall of Famer."

What did Angel Reese say?

Reese told the Chicago Tribune she hasn't been happy with the direction the Sky has taken and hopes the team brings in more talented players ahead of next season.

“I’m not settling for the same s— we did this year,” Reese said. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a non-negotiable for me. I’m willing and wanting to play with the best. And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason.

"So it’s going to be very, very important this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best, because we can’t settle for what we have this year.”

Reese later apologized for what she said, but many of her teammates reacted negatively to her commentary, and the team suspended Reese for half a game on Sept. 7. Reese also didn't play during the team's Sept. 9 match against the Aces.

In light of the comments, Reese's future with the Sky is unclear. Rumors of potential trades have rocked the WNBA, but are unlikely to bear any fruit until 2026.
