Week 2 in Louisiana high school football featured several key performances on offense and defense.

Here’s a look at those top individual performances from Week 2.

Quincy Adams, Terrebonne: Adams only needed eight carries to rush for 151 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 42-3 victory against Ellender.

Jayden Arceneaux, Lafayette Christian: Arceneaux had six tackles and four sacks in the Knights’ 41-38 win against Carencro.

Cooper Babin, St. Amant: Babin accounted for 495 yards and eight touchdowns in the Gators’ 60-56 win over Cecilia. Babin passed for 374 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing for 121 yards and another four touchdowns.

Josh Barthelemy, South Plaquemines: Barthelemy made 18 tackles (11 solo) and intercepted a pass in the Hurricanes’ 38-14 win against Bogalusa.

Elontae Beauchamp, Hammond: Beauchamp had eight tackles, three sacks and five quarterback hurries in a 10-3 win over Amite.

Caiden Bellard, Lafayette Christian: Bellard ran for 164 yards and a touchdown as LCA defeated Carencro, 41-38.

Armonii Benjamin, Marksville: In just his second high school football game, Benjamin had a school record 259 yards and three touchdowns on five catches in the Tigers’ 36-28 win over Church Point.

Gavin Breaux, Sam Houston: Breaux rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos’ 46-14 loss to Teurlings Catholic.

Cameron Brooks, Ouachita Parish: Brooks scored on touchdown receptions of 63 and 43 yards as the Lions beat Wossman, 54-6.

Ayden Carter, Lake Charles College Prep: Carter helped lead the Trailblazers to a high-scoring, comeback 70-65 win with 286 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Kameron Casnave, Northlake Christian: Casnave rushed for 213 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-20 win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge).

Jaden Celestine, Comeaux: Celestine helped Comeaux snap a 33-game losing streak with 247 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-30 win over Patterson.

Wydell Clark, Ouachita Parish: Clark had four receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns as Ouachita defeated Wossman, 54-6.

Montrell Conner, Ouachita Parish: Conner passed for 280 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Lions to a 54-6 victory over Wossman. Conner also rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns for a stat line of 312 total yards and six touchdowns.

Braydon Cummings, Huntington: Cummings racked up 20 tackles (15 solos) in the Raiders’ 56-34 loss to Captain Shreve.

Kenny Darby, Airline: The LSU commit caught eight passes for 160 yards as the Vikings defeated Benton, 50-18.

Luke Delafield, North DeSoto: Delafield went 11-for-17 with 242 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Griffins to a 49-20 victory over Center (Texas).

Blake Delcambre, Loreauville: Delcambre had 260 total yards and five touchdowns in the Tigers’ 41-21 win over Ascension Catholic.

Damari Drake, Evangel: Drake had nine carries for 188 yards and four touchdowns in the Eagles’ 63-42 win over Natchitoches Central. Drake added six tackles and two sacks on defense.

Dezyrian “Pook” Ellis, Franklin Parish: The LSU commit accounted for 331 yards and threw for three touchdowns in a 48-7 victory over St. Frederick.

Braylon Garrick, Westlake: Garrick ran for 167 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Rams to a 47-12 win against LaGrange. Garrick added a 46-yard reception for 213 total yards on the night.

Kross Gillen, Opelousas Catholic: Gillen passed for 330 yards and six touchdowns on 10 of 15 aim in the Vikings’ 43-6 win over East Beauregard.

Jelandon Gray, Barbe: Gray kept pace with Lake Charles College Prep in a 70-65 loss with 456 total yards and seven touchdowns. Gray went 13-for-19 passing with 291 yards and five touchdowns, while adding 13 carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Jonah Grob, Albany: Grob rushed for 206 yards, four touchdowns and five two-point conversions in Albany’s 54-0 shutout win over Sarah T. Reed.

Daniel Hatcher, Jena: Hatcher rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns in the Giants’ 56-3 win over Menard.

Elijah Haven, Dunham: The nation’s top prospect for the Class of 2027 accounted for 532 yards and eight touchdowns in the Tigers’ high-scoring 63-42 win over Live Oak.

Brooks Hebert, West Feliciana: Hebert went 12-for-17 passing with 347 yards and four touchdowns in the Saints’ 48-16 win over Belaire.

Peyton “Pop” Houston, Evangel: The newly LSU commit accounted for 505 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles’ 63-42 win over Natchitoches Central. Houston passed for 389 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing for 116 yards and another touchdown.

Ethan Johnson, Haughton: Johnson caught 12 passes for a school-record 290 yards and three touchdowns in the Bucs’ 36-35 overtime win over C.E. Byrd.

Kevon Johnson, Northwest: Johnson rushed for 261 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries in a 36-33 loss to Rayne. He added an 18-yard reception.

Landon Johnson, Madison Prep: Johnson had 303 total yards, a touchdown and an interception in the Chargers’ 30-21 victory against Mandeville.

Jakwan Jones, Slidell: Jones took 26 carries for 201 yards and two touchdowns to lead Slidell to a 42-27 win against Livingston Collegiate.

Skyler Kelly, Prairieville: Kelly led the Hurricanes to a 21-14 win over Parkview Baptist with 233 total yards and two touchdowns.

Walker Langston, South Beauregard: Langston passed for 296 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-38 win against Washington-Marion. Langston added 25 rushing yards and a touchdown to lead the Knights.

Devin Lavalais, Marksville: Lavalais set a school record for passing yards in the Tigers’ 36-28 win over Church Point. Lavalais passed for 388 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for two more scores.

Makelin Lemoine, Elton: Lemoine rushed for 336 yards and six touchdowns to lead Elton to a 45-22 win over Northwood (Lena).

Alex Mitchell, Loyola: Mitchell intercepted three passes in Loyola’s 47-12 victory over Logansport.

Keonce Moore, Ringgold: Moore threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns on 14 of 21 aim in Ringgold’s 54-12 win over Plain Dealing. He also led the defense with eight tackles.

Jude Morrison, Catholic (Pointe Coupee): Morrison passed for 180 yards and five touchdowns in the Hornets’ 63-12 victory over Crowley. Morrison also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Chase Naquin, E.D. White: Naquin intercepted three passes in the Cardinals’ 24-21 loss to Jesuit.

Terrell Pegues, Mansfield: Pegues ran for 253 yards and two touchdowns in the Wolverines’ 28-22 win over Green Oaks. Pegues also had a 15-yard touchdown reception.

Kenny Ponthier, Tioga: Tioga’s running back set the tone for a 56-20 win over Leesville with 268 yards and three touchdowns.

J’on Profit, Madison Prep: Profit rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown as the Chargers defeated Mandeville, 30-21.

Jaydon Prudhomme, Lake Arthur: Prudhomme rushed for 263 yards and a touchdown in Lake Arthur’s 27-12 win over DeQuincy.

Bryce Restovich, Loyola: Restovich completed 23 of 33 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns in the Flyers’ 47-12 win over Logansport.

Zion Scott, Ringgold: Scott gained 280 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 touches as Ringgold defeated Plain Dealing, 54-12. Scott hauled in seven passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns and added 113 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

Dalton Shirley, Sulphur: Despite a 48-25 loss to Northside, Shirley accounted for 249 total yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Owen Smith, Natchitoches Central: Smith dueled with newly LSU commit Peyton “Pop” Houston in a 63-42 loss to Evangel. Smith passed for 322 yards and two touchdowns on 13 of 19 aim. He added two rushing touchdowns.

Bennett Speer, Evangel: Speer had a game-high 17 tackles against Natchitoches Central in a 63-42 win.

Cadyn Stogner, Pine: Stogner made 14 tackles and two sacks as the Raiders defeated Independence, 44-19.

Tuff Street, LaSalle: Street rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 32-29 win over Lakeside. Street also made six tackles.

Owen Trosclair, Covenant Christian: Trosclair accounted for 299 yards (143 passing, 156 rushing) and two touchdowns as the Lions lost narrowly to South Terrebonne, 22-21.

Andrew Viator, Teurlings Catholic: Viator caught seven passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns as the Rebels defeated Sam Houston, 46-14.

Braylon Walker, Lafayette Christian: The UL Lafayette commit garnered 262 total yards and four touchdowns in the Knights’ 41-38 win against Carencro.

Braylon Washington, North Webster: Washington had 143 yards and three touchdowns on just seven touches in the Knights’ 47-14 victory over North Caddo.

Matthew Wheaton, Beau Chene: Wheaton had 23 tackles and a blocked field goal in the Gators’ 34-27 loss to Port Barre.

Chase Williams, Airline: Williams completed 14 of 19 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns in the Vikings’ 50-18 win against Benton.

Wilbert Ricky Williams, Slidell: Williams accounted for 221 yards and four touchdowns as the Tigers defeated Livingston Collegiate, 42-27.

Nathan Zaunbrecher, St. Edmund: The Blue Jay quarterback went 6-for-7 with 252 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-6 win over Sacred Heart (Texas).

Malachi Zeigler, Benton: Zeigler accounted for 209 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 50-18 loss to Airline.
